right candidate in obtaining the state required insurance licenses and

You can choose to build your business from the ground up or consider
purchasing an existing Agency. Currently, we have Agencies in our
district that are for sale as the owners are looking to retire soon. If

FARMERS CAREER AGENCY OWNER PERFORMANCE PLUS SUPPORT PROGRAM
Our Traditional Program is for candidates that want to build an agency
from the ground up. The right candidate must have the motivation and
dedication it takes to develop into a great Agent and Agency Owner. This
career path requires very little investment and Farmers offers a
generous subsidy for the first 3 years to give you the financial help to
allow you to build your agency and still take home a reasonable income.

FINANCIAL SNAPSHOT
First-year agents can typically earn between $40,000 and $100,000. In

AGENT REQUIREMENTS
As a Farmers Insurance Agent, you will be a trusted advisor to your
clients. You will be helping to protect their valued possessions and
invest in their future. You must have strong organizational and
time-management skills as well as exceptional interpersonal
communication abilities. We are seeking individuals from ANY background
who are willing to work hard and commit themselves to their own success;
however, experience in sales, marketing and/or customer service is very
beneficial.
All candidates must successfully pass the Farmers Insurance
Application/Background Check prior to being accepted in to the program:
* College experience, not required but a plus -- high school graduate or equivalent
* Favorable credit history with no debts in collection totaling more than $1,000
* No bankruptcies or excessive charge offs within the last 12 months
* Favorable criminal record
* No felony convictions
* Valid NV state issued driver's license
