Job description
Aristocrat Technologies is looking for a top-notch Controller of Financial Operations.
Drive relationship with external auditors and ensure timely completion of external audits.
Ensure the integrity of all financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
Ensure that sales transactions are recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and that any deferred revenue is appropriately tracked, reconciled and ultimately recognized in accordance with GAAP.
Work with the ATI tax department to ensure adequacy of records and detail of reporting to ensure tax compliance and ability to file required returns.
Provide relevant financial support and advice to Divisional Controllers.
Indirectly supervise Accounting teams (responsibilities include general ledger, revenue accounting, gaming fixed assets, and cash).
Oversee day to day accounting for operations, including:
•Recurring revenue billing
•Systems Maintenance
•Warranties
•Revenue scorecards
•Gaming fixed assets
•Recurring revenue billing

•Gaming fixed assets
Review and approve department journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure month end/ quarter end/ half year/ annual deliverables achieved within prescribed timelines
Prepare financial evaluations, review and make recommendations for:
•capital expenditure proposals
•business cases supporting new business opportunities
•capital expenditure proposals

Prepare cash and balance sheet forecast to ensure proper deployment of working capital to meet business objectives
Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.
Enhance and/ or develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures of Finance department.
Responsible for training, development, and mentoring of staff to build high quality work force.
Support work life balance and initiatives to support Aristocrat’s beliefs and behaviors.
Other Duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA required.
Experience: Minimum of 8 – 10 years’ experience in general accounting, with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role required. Preferred ex big 4 public accounting background and experience with a manufacturing organization. Record of process change and continuous improvement is also preferred.
Skills, knowledge, and qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Knowledge of financial reporting principles and ability to lead and motivate staff required.
This position may require registration with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) and/or other gaming jurisdictions in which we operate.
Physical, Mental and Environmental Demands:
- Assigned duties are accomplished primarily in an office/production setting. Must be able to maneuver around an office/production setting, work at a desk/work station and respond to written and oral cues.
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office/production equipment.
- May be required to bend, reach and lift up to 25 lbs.
