Location: Las Vegas, NV or Austin, TX
Responsibilities:
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the design and implementation of software applications and systems.
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment creating unit tests and validation procedures, and document technical specifications.
- Prepare required documentation such as release notes, comments and systems architecture.
- Participates in design meetings and consults with other staff to evaluate hardware and software requirements.
- Identify own tasks and timelines to complete programming objectives within agreed upon deadlines.
- Work with a lead developer or project manager to create project delivery schedules.
- Document and implement fixes for software defects.
- Follow departmental procedures to meet customer and client needs in an innovative and resourceful manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
