UEB Builders, Commercial General Contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join the Accounting team in Scottsdale, AZ (role is located in the Scottsdale Office)! This role will entail maintaining complete, full-cycle construction job cost accounting for assigned construction contracts in AZ, WA, and OR. Projects may include Multi-family, Healthcare, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, and Institutional ($20M-$70M). http://amzn.to/2mM3Qfv Duties: Enter in complete contract and subcontract information for our contracted constructions jobs. Enter approved budgets for contracts and subcontracts. Monitor and track insurance and waiver compliance for subcontracts. Process Pay Applications to our clients on a monthly basis, including entry into Sage/Timberscan Draft all waivers to accompany Pay Applications. Process Subcontractors’ pay applications on a monthly basis., including entry into Sage. Process all Change Orders – internal and subcontract – associated with assigned jobs, including entry into Sage. Process all invoices associated with assigned jobs for payment. Provide monthly Job Cost reports to Project Manager and Senior Management – with comprehension as to where we stand relative to the Job Cost Budget. Interface with Project Manager and Senior Management on all aspects of construction accounting. File all associated documents hard-copy and electronically as needed. Skills/Qualifications: BS in Accounting or 3 yrs comprehensive accounting experience. One year Construction Accounting experience. Microsoft Office; Sage/Timberline/Timberscan software experience a plus, not required. Excellent interpersonal skills – able to communicate well verbally and in writing with team members, subcontractors and owner representatives. High attention to detail, deadline-oriented, excellent time-management and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
