DESCRIPTION:

A Professional Tax and Accounting firm is seeking a talented and hard-working bookkeeper. We are a fast growing company offering legal, tax and bookkeeping services to clients around the country. You must have the ability to work for multiple clients at one time (mostly real estate investors) and perform bookkeeping functions for various types of businesses.

Starting salary is $30k - $35k per year (based on experience), plus full benefits including health, dental, vision and 401k. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 

Minimum 2 years experience with Quickbooks (QuickBooks Desktop and Online preferred)
Moderate to advanced knowledge of Excel
Excellent time management skills
Experience with managing multiple client accounts at one time
General accounting knowledge (understanding of debits and credits)
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Minimum 2 years experience as a Bookkeeper
Work hours are 8-5, but must have flexibility to work longer hours as needed to meet deadlines

JOB DUTIES: 

The job duties for the Bookkeeper position include, but are not limited to: 

Working with multiple clients each month to maintain bookkeeping records for their various companies. 
Entering data in QuickBooks and preparing, printing and sending out monthly financials for approximately 150 sets of books.
Reconciling client accounts to ensure accuracy.
Speaking with the clients each month and answering any questions they may have about the financials provided and having the ability to confidently explain their monthly financial reports.
Compiling federal, state and local requirements for client.
Learning new processes and procedures for how certain investments and transactions are entered based on the type of clients we have, which in many cases are unique even to experienced bookkeepers.
All other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time by Company management.
