PREP COOK

We are looking for talented and creative individuals to join our new fast growing business. At Shang Artisan Noodle, we believe you are the key to create delicious dishes to enhance our guest dining experience.

Job Description:

- Organize, prepare, deliver and display product for functions
- Responsible for quality of food, preparation and presentation
- Ensure freshness of products
- Comply with all safety and health department procedures
- Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and handling of equipment, using only as intended and only after proper training has been demonstrated
- Keep workstations clean at all times during service time

Qualification:

- Minimum 1 years working experience of Asian cuisine (preferred with wok experience)
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Possession of or the ability to possess all state required work cards
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions

DISHWASHER

As one of the most important members of our Back of House team, the dishwasher helps to deliver the perfect dining experience to our guests by ensuring 100% cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and restocking dishware and maintaining the Back of the House appearance.

Responsibilities:

- Operate a dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment 
- Store clean equipment and utensils 
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Maintain clean and dry floors, including proper mat placement and cleaning
- Empty and clean trash cans, and ensure proper trash can placement

Qualification:

- Minimum 1 year of restaurant dishwashing experience
- Must be over 18 years of age 
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs

SERVER

Job Description:

Become part of our artisan team where serving Mandarin artisanal noodle, demonstrating genuine hospitality while greeting and establishing rapport with the guest and delivering an exceptional dining experience by

- Guiding guests through menus and up-sell while demonstrating thorough knowledge of the food, beverages and ingredients
- Taking orders and partnering with team members to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests' expectations
- Providing friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel well taken care of and builds their intent to return

Qualification:

- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Must be over 21 years of age
- Must be able to stand and walk for majority of shift
- Working knowledge of up-selling techniques and service delivery of menu items
- Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Able to communicate in English (written and oral)
- Able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications
