JOB DESCRIPTION
Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc., named a Top Workplace for 4 consecutive years by The Denver Post is currently seeking a Receptionist for a temporary role at its Las Vegas, NV office. Since 1912 Sturgeon Electric has been providing comprehensive electrical construction services to clients throughout the western United States.
Receptionist Duties:
Receptionist Duties:
- Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when needed
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail
- Maintains and operates office machines
- Miscellaneous data entry/word processing
- Ongoing upkeep and organization of the office entryway to ensure a clean and presentable area at all times
- Other duties as assigned
- Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Receptionist Skills/Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in an office setting; preferably in electrical operations, or a general construction office setting
- High School Diploma or GED
- Practical administrative experience
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Salary commensurate with experience.
