Security Escort - Unarmed

QI is currently seeking highly motivated professionals to join our growing team! We are currently seeking Part-time and Full-time Security Escort - Unarmed. This position offers a competitive salary and H&W benefits.
 
Duties and responsibilities of a Security Escort:
  • Report to work on time and remains on assigned post until relieved as required.
  • Maintain good personal hygiene and wear proper apparel combinations while maintaining a professional appearance. Required apparel shall be clean and pressed at all times.
  • Develop and maintain courteous relationships with company employees, and all client personnel.
  • Maintain high quality communication and interaction with all supervisors, co-workers, and client personnel.
  • Complete and maintain all required reports promptly, legibly, accurately, thoroughly, neatly, and with correct grammar and spelling.
  • Must cover an assignment at a fixed post for the purpose of monitoring, detecting and preventing individuals or groups from committing acts, which are injurious to the client and property.
  • Direct required personnel and visitors to appropriate locations within the property.
  • Able to stay alert during prolonged periods of boredom and to stay calm during stressful situations while working alone.
  • Identify, report, and document all safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, spills, and other such matters to appropriate management member and/or client representative.
  • Use independent judgment and discretion as necessary in the performance of routine and non-routine activities.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere within the areas of assignment.
  • Respond to activated fire, burglary or other alarms, or other emergency situations; evaluate situations encountered and take action as prescribed in Post Orders.
  • Investigate questionable acts or behaviors observed or reported on client premises and question witnesses and suspects to ascertain or verify facts, and notify authorities if warranted.
  • Ensure the security of identified areas and or facilities at designated periods as required by assignment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications to become a Security Escort:
  • Must be at least 25 years old and possess a high school diploma or General Education Certificate (GED)
  • Possess good written communication skills
  • Capable of verbal communication adequate for clearly understandable radio transmissions
  • Demonstrated good customer relations and interaction skills
  • Must be able to operate and work in multi-task environment
  • Ability to contribute and participate in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Must be of sound mind and moral character, with no felony convictions or convictions for misdemeanors involving moral turpitude, domestic violence or work place violence
  • Pass a thorough background investigation to include a drug screen and physical examination
  • Must have a valid Nevada Drivers License.
  • Must have a valid Sheriff’s Card.
