Pharmacy Support Representative Las Vegas - Las Vegas, NV

SUMMARY This position assists pharmacists, order entry staff, and call center staff in resolving payment issues and monitoring renewal requests sent to prescribers. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Review the appropriate queues within pharmacy software to resolve credit card rejections or payment installment rejections Contact patient when appropriate to get updated credit card information and reprocess claims Contact prescriber offices for renewal requests. This may include follow up faxes as well as prescriber outreach via phone if further information is needed. Contact patients to notify them of denied prescription renewal requests Contact patients when information is missing from faxed or mailed prescriptions. Maintains a clean work area during and before the end of each shift EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Experience in order entry in a medical setting preferred Experience with phone outreach to patients and prescribers preferred Ability to thrive in a team environment Good communication skills Knowledge of basic pharmacy order entry practices and procedures preferred Knowledge of record-keeping techniques preferred Attention to detail Problem solving skills Accurate typing skills Basic understanding of computer technology Job Type: Full-time Salary: $13.00 /hour Required experience: Order Entry, Medical setting: 1 year Microsoft Office Suite: 2 years Record Keeping: 2 years Customer Service Skills: 2 years Apply Now
