Job Summary This is an office management position. Please be mindful of the minimum qualifications as only those who meet or exceed the qualifications will be considered. This position involves assisting a financial advisor and certified financial planner (CFP) in servicing, maintaining and promoting portfolio accounts for individual clients. These clients have a personal relationship with the company and are treated with dignity, warmth and respect by staff. The representative will assist clients and service their accounts under the guidance of the advisor/CFP using the phone, computer and during in person client meetings (usually by appointment). On the job training is provided. Job Duties & Skills: Client/Customer Service (servicing clients' accounts in a phone call center manner using MS Office, financial programs/websites, a phone log and daily tracking system) Operating general office equipment (i.e., photocopier, fax, printers, PC) Performing office tasks (i.e., scheduling appointments for advisor/CFP, client mailings/letters, filing/sorting and organizing documents, assisting in monitoring client portfolios, researching and troubleshooting account issues with assistance from advisor/CFP, co-workers, as available, and corporate personnel Maintaining office supply inventory (i.e., copier paper, ink cartridges) Errands (i.e., purchasing supplies, going to the Post Office, if needed) Collaborating to assure the attractiveness of the office and performing miscellaneous tasks, as assigned, to enhance the success of the company. Wage $40,000 yearly Minimum Qualifications 50-60 WPM (typing test will be administered) Associates degree/Bachelor's degree 5-7 years experience within similar role Able to work 8-5:00 p.m., Mon-Friday and some extended hours, as needed, to complete work in progress and deadlines (i.e., during busy seasons). If Saturday work is needed, this would be on average 3-4 times yearly. Apply
