Customer Care Specialist FarHeap Solutions, Inc. - Las Vegas, NV

We have an immediate opening for a Customer Care Specialist at our Las Vegas office!
This position will support one or more of our e-Commerce print sites, where we sell printed products such as business cards, postcards, posters, coasters, rubber stamps, and much more! You will be the voice of the Company to our valued customers, who depend on us to make their small to mid-sized businesses look good. You may deal with a daycare service one minute, followed by a tax consultant, and a high school in Alaska the next.
We will train you to use our proprietary customer service software to handle calls efficiently, but we will give preference to candidates who already have good depth in customer service.
What you will do:
  • Answer phone calls, and reply to chats and emails from customers who have uploaded print orders and designed images via our systems in an attempt to resolve issues in one contact. It is better for the company if you can make them happy the first time you communicate with them!
  • Provide customers with specifications and helpful suggestions regarding how they can make their printed products look nicer, and very briefly give them tips about ways to upload their files so everything prints perfectly.
  • Review image files to ensure they meet our high print standards.
  • Offer customers accurate information about our products, what it costs to upgrade shipping, and answers to miscellaneous questions they may have.
  • Verify pricing, and research order status quickly while they are waiting.
  • Know the value of upsells - in other words, we do not try to upsell our customers on extras they do not need, but sometimes a business card would look better if they added spot UV. Our customer's image reflects on us, and this is part of your job.
  • Calculate refunds, credits, and number of days required for printed product to be shipped to the customer.
  • Keep customers calm, and know when to escalate to a supervisor or manager to satisfy their demands.
We are hiring customer support specialists who can do all of the above things, and who can type very quickly and "chat" live with customers. You may start off on email and chat, and if you are very good at your job, be promoted to live phone calls. This aspect of customer service either makes us look good, or makes customers angry. We want people who will make customers happy.
Requirements:
  • You must already have two full years of customer support experience.
  • You must speak, read, and write nearly perfect English. We try to avoid misunderstandings through clear communication.
  • You should already have excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications. It is important that you be able to type quickly, especially in chat, but also in email, since we try to resolve as much as possible in writing.
  • You must be able to express yourself clearly.
  • You must be able to manage your time well, and have very exact attention to detail.
  • You must be able to commute to the Las Vegas office.
  • You may be expected to work different shifts depending on work load. And twice a year, we get crazy busy and expect all hands on deck. We need a strong commitment to getting this job done.
