A non-profit organization that facilitates internships in the U.S. seeking an independent contractor to perform a brief ONE-TIME ONLY on-site evaluation of a prospective host company for placement of international exchange participants. You would take digital photos inside and out, being our eyes at the site. You would make observations of the site based on a form we provide and obtain the signature of the host company supervisor. The signed, completed form would be digitized and emailed back to CENET along with the digital photos. Your payment will be mailed to your home address.
Details of the site visit:
1) Pay: $75 per site visit + $0.575 per mile (calculated from your home address to the company's address and back). Maximum 200 mile round-trip allowable.
2) Duration of the visit: about 30 minutes
3) Description: It is a descriptive visit, to see if it is a legitimate company . (i.e. Is the physical site safe? Approximate number of staff on duty at the time of the visit? Is the location of the company in a safe area?) Forms are provided and must be completed and signed.
4) The contractor would have to contact the supervisor and schedule a time to meet at both your and his/her convenience.
